Our work with teachers aims to improve classroom practices through training, school-based mentoring, peer-learning, quality circles and the provision of interactive teaching resources.

The Udbhav programme promotes the professional development of teachers in Science, English and Mathematics. We produce interactive teaching and learning modules and teachers deliver these modules through student-centred, practical and creative classroom sessions. We support teachers with school visits by experienced teacher-mentors and teachers participate in opportunities for peer learning to share good practice and innovative teaching methods

Our work with Head teachers prepares them to lead and manage their schools effectively. Head teacher training focuses on developing annual school plans, school budgets, promoting community engagement and teacher management.

Our programme benefits more than 1,200 teachers each year.
