Philosophy

At Kusuma we believe every life is of equal value and every individual should be given equal opportunities. Access to education, jobs and resources should be universal and not a privilege for society’s wealthy and elite.

We are convinced the great disparities that exist in our society can lessen and change for the better and we will do everything we can to make it happen.

Our dynamic team is skilled and highly entrepreneurial, pooled from a variety of backgrounds including business, NGOs and governmental organisations. We focus our attention and resources on projects which produce measured and tangible results.

Whilst we provide input and guidance to our partners, we are primarily a funding NGO. Our aim is to sponsor projects that can one day be run independently by the beneficiaries.

Our long term goal is to accumulate detailed findings about the areas in which we
work and make those finding available to other NGOs, government agencies and interested members of the public.
