On 14 December 2025, BBC Countryfile featured our partners at English Heritage and we particularly enjoyed the segment on the Kusuma Neolithic Hall at Stonehenge!
This Kusuma Neolithic Hall will be reconstructed based on findings from archaeological sites and using authentic technologies including Neolithic tools. Supported by our grant of £1million, building for the project started in August with foundations in place and is now in the midst of the authentic building phase. More than 45 volunteers are involved in building the Kusuma Neolithic Hall and the episode of Countryfile showed how much they have achieved in such a short space of time. It is exciting to see how the project is progressing and we are looking forward to the Autumn when it will be open to the public and full of learning groups experiencing what life would have been like in the Neolitihic times.
This episode of Countryfile is available to rewatch on BBC iPlayer (at the time of publishing this news item.)
