On Monday 8 June, The British Educational Research Association (BERA) published 4 reports that we funded through the Neurodiversity in Mainstream Schools Grant Programme, following a highly competitive call for proposals. Since early 2025 researchers at 5 Universities across the country have been carrying out this research.
These reports set out evidence-informed approaches to improve the education experience of neurodivergent young people in mainstream settings. Independently each report explores different aspects of improving life skills, pathways to employment and inclusive classroom practice. Together we hope their findings will provide teachers, schools, policymakers and other researchers, with practical, evidence-informed guidance to better support inclusion, engagement and life chances. You can read the reports on the BERA website. (This is an external link and Kusuma Trust does not own the content of the linked site and are not responsible for its accuracy or reliability)
