We are partnering with Bonny Downs Community Association (BDCA) to support ‘Growing Well’ – an expert-led programme for children with SEND and their parents/carers.
We are delighted to grant them £25,000 for a new educational play group for children aged 0-5 whose parents suspect they may have Autistic Spectrum Condition or another form of learning disability. The specialist play group is designed to significantly improve the children’s communication, social interaction and life skills. BDCA will also deliver parent training courses covering basic sign language and educational play techniques catered to the children’s individual needs.
We can’t wait to hear how the new regular play groups and parenting courses go and about how they aid participant’s development and support families in London.
