We are pleased to once again be supporting Chess in School and Communities with a grant of £25,000 towards Chess Fest 2023.
The aim of Chess Fest is to introduce people to the game of chess, offering a positive and low-cost leisure pursuit they can share with their friends and family. Their Trafalgar Square event is full of family-friendly activities, including living games of chess played out by a troupe of actors, simultaneous displays involving grandmasters and international players, casual chess, games on giant sets, a blitz chess tent and blindfold chess. more details about the event taking place in July 2023 can be found here.
