We have awarded CW+, the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s charity, a grant of £150,000 to go towards the purchase of ventilators and their associated equipment for the hospital. A portion of this grant will also go towards frontline staff in the hope of making their lives and professional routine as comfortable as possible.
We have all seen the effects of this global pandemic, and while they are serious it is important to shine a light on the workforce whose actions ensure that we are as safe and healthy as possible. The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is playing a central role in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak and are preparing to increase their Intensive Care Units capacity to take on as many new cases as possible.
As we clap for the NHS, it is important also to remind them that we are standing by their side, supporting them as we can during these challenging times. We hope that our grant will help the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital staff to continue doing an exemplary job of caring for the nation!
