We are supporting students and teachers while local schools are closed due to the Corona virus. We have committed over £10,500 to the Department of Education in Gibraltar to provide additional home-learning resources. The money will enable students and teachers to access the online resource “GCSEPod,” which provides Key Stage 4 content that will allow current Year 11s to continue to develop skills they will need for Year 12, and allow our Year 10s to make a smoother transition to Year 11 in September.
GCSEPod is a web based resource containing knowledge rich content for 27 GCSE subjects. The software makes it easy to blend learning and revise from wherever students are, on any device and is particularly suited to remote learning. We hope that by awarding this grant that students in Gibraltar will be able to maintain and improve their subject knowledge during this difficult time while schools are shut.
