We have awarded a grant of over £28,000 to The Garden Classroom through our Green Spaces & Technology open call to support their urban forest school programme.
The urban forest sessions will provide child-led outdoor learning experiences to primary school students in Islington. The sessions aim to support and stimulate children’s emotional, cognitive and social growth through engaging, hands-on activities, experiences and games. In addition, young people will also be introduced to their local greenspaces, helping them build a lasting connection to nature and the environment.
