We are funding iPartner India with a £20,000 grant to support their essential work in food provision for marginalised populations across India. Our grant will provide food parcels to 800 families that will last for a month.
iPartner, through its local Indian partners, has been delivering basic ration packs including essentials like rice, lentils, tomato paste and salt to families in several states who are facing significant adversity in the current crisis. Many of those receiving the food parcels are daily wage labourers struggling to buy food for their families during lockdown, survivors of trafficking or domestic violence, and the undocumented. iPartner’s Covid-19 Food Fund is helping to ensure plates are full across the country, enabling families to stay safe and healthy in these difficult times.
