We have pledged £80,000 to the Royal Parks over the next two years to pilot ‘Green Futures’, a hands-on environmental conservation-skills programme which will engage around 800 young people (between Key Stage 3 and Year 12) in activities around Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Green Park. Participating students will learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills, practice citizen science, and get an understanding of careers within the natural heritage sector, all while building team and leadership skills.

Royal Parks are the charity looking after eight of London’s largest open spaces. They are an important part of the landscape of the city, and we are delighted to be able to work with them to bring these spaces alive for young people in London.
