In March 2019 we awarded a grant to Centre for London to support their research on new urban mobility in the capital. The final report outlining their research called Building for a New Urban Mobility was published in January 2020. you can read more about the report here.
A few weeks on from the launch, the report is already is gaining traction. The findings reached nearly 45,000 people on Twitter, with the report being viewed over 500 times within the first 48 hours of launching. The report was also shared with policymakers in City Hall, all 2020 London mayoral candidates and the Department for Transport. Over the coming months Centre for London aim to ensure that their findings are embedded in Mayoral candidates’ manifestos. The think-tank will also be hosting two events this spring outlining findings from the report and making it available to attendees.
