Our latest grant has been awarded to Camden Art Centre for their Mainstream and Special Education Needs Schools Programmes!
Camden Art Centre hopes to increase the creative opportunities for local young people through two artistic outreach projects. For students with special education needs, a team of co-lead artists, including one learning disabled artist, will hold collaborative workshops championing self expression culminating in an exhibition held at Camden Art Centre. In addition, an artist in residence will hold workshops for a whole primary school and Year 9 group, incorporating drawing and gardening while exploring themes of community, compassion and cultivating connection.
