This summer we gave a grant to Chelsea Theatre: £13,920 to fund a summertime project ‘Bi-weekly Breakfast and Breakout Sessions’. The project, which has run throughout August, encourages children and families from the World’s End Estate and the surrounding area to come together to share breakfast, after which children can take part in one of a range of fun activities, including football, dance, drama, basketball, and arts and crafts. The breakfast aspect of the project helps families to reconnect, while the activities help the children to rebuild their social skills, gain new friendships and keep active during the summer holidays.
