In 2021, we gave £12,500 to support the Futures Forward Leadership Academy, which supports young adults in Gibraltar with the ‘capabilities, mindsets, and networks’ to make a positive difference. You can read more details about the grant here.
The initiative has received recognition by the European Commission as an example of leading practice in equipping learners with understanding and skills in sustainability, climate change and the environment. In addition, Commissioner for Sustainable Development Prof Daniella Tilbury, was invited to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe to showcase the Futures Forward Academy to Ministerial representatives from member states across Europe and North America and share the experience of the programme.
