We are glad to announce our new partnership with Go Live Theatre Projects, previously known as Mousetrap Theatre Projects, to deliver collaborative and creative playwright sessions to children who are D/deaf and hard of hearing.

The sessions, known as Playmakers, will work with 50 7-11 year olds, teaching them how to establish characters, settings, a narrative and dialogue, culminating in a play that will be performed in a London theatre by professional actors. The students will also be taken to a West End show, with British Sign Language provided to make the performance accessible to all.

We hope our £25,000 grant will not only contribute to the students learning new skills but also provide new experiences with inspiring D/deaf role models!
