We have partnered with Horniman Museum and Gardens, and awarded them a grant of over £29,000. This will support their plans to plant a new ‘micro-forest,’ to train their staff to lead Forest School sessions for young visitors, and to pilot an online club to inspire and support families of ‘Environmental Champions’ to make positive changes in their homes and communities.

In 2019, the Horniman Museum joined the movement of organisations declaring a climate and ecological emergency and pledging to put environmental issues at the heart of their work. Since then, an exhibition on aquatic plastic pollution won Horniman a Museums + Innovation Award for innovation. We are delighted to support the Horniman Museum to assist them in bringing more of their ambitious plans to life.
