We have given a grant of £10,000 to In2Science UK to go towards their Covid-19 response appeal. This grant will help them support vulnerable children and young people’s education during this challenging time.

The unique circumstances surrounding Covid-19 have required adaptability from everyone, and especially children and young people whose education has been highly disrupted throughout these past few months. Online resources can be inadequate compared to face-to-face programmes, and opportunities to develop essential skills can be undermined. In2Science UK is targeting these problems by investing in a digital transformation, through an online platform, training and new online materials. This platform will also enable young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to receive mentoring from a wide range of professionals and build their confidence through motivational workshops.

With this grant we hope to support young people through these unique times and encourage them to continue investing in their own education.
