We are thrilled to support children with SEND with a grant of over £58,000 to Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA).
IPSEA deliver free and independent telephone advice services to parents/carers and young people on educational issues such as exclusion from school, discrimination, and the process for securing additional support. Their Tribunal Helpline gives next-step advice on proceedings in the SEND Tribunal, and they often represent parents/carers who are making appeals or claims with in-depth casework undertaken by their volunteers. Our grant will also provide free e-learning for 50 families in London, empowering parents/carers to understand their rights and gain knowledge and confidence about their child’s SEND provision.
