We have awarded a grant of over £19,500 to MyBnk to support their ‘Money Twist’ Programme. Our funding will allow 650 students in London (aged 7-11) the chance to participate in financial sessions that aim to instil positive money habits and mindsets, introduce the concept of money and understand needs vs wants.

MyBnk address the issue of young people leaving school without effective financial education. This can contribute to a higher risk of financial poverty and debt from an early age. Studies show that significant proportions of the UK population do not have the basic skills and knowledge to manage their money, making the need for financial education at primary school level essential for ensuring financial stability for the future.

We are pleased to be teaming up with MyBnk on this important programme and look forward to hearing how the young people have got on.
