We have partnered with the Paddington Development Trust to support the North Paddington food bank’s Covid-19 response programme. By awarding the Paddington Development Trust a grant of £6,000 we are supporting the costs of various materials essential to the food bank during this crisis. Together they are working to feed the most vulnerable communities in Westminster.
Our grant will support the costs of connecting and installing a chiller, as well as the hire of a chiller delivery van and PPE for the food bank’s frontline volunteers. These items and materials have become essential for the food bank in the context of the Covid-19 crisis, and demand for the organisation’s services are expected to increase by 400%.
