We are delighted to have given a grant of just over £65,000 to Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP) for their “Bridging the Gap” project.

In our latest grant for our ‘Access to Opportunities’ area of interest, 45 young adults with learning disabilities will work closely with the PIP team to develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to live the life they want, making their own choices, have their voices heard and developing skills towards greater independence. This will be achieved through  road shows with schools,  one-to-one outreach support, and weekly peer-support social sessions- building social networks, independence and life experiences.

We look forward to seeing the results of this valuable project and hearing about the new skills and community that the young people create!
