We are excited to announce a new grant with the National Portrait Gallery for their schools outreach programs Faces and Places.

We are giving over £190,000 to the gallery to deliver hundreds of new and innovative workshops to schools across six London boroughs. The project works with the galleries collection to explore themes of identity, culture and society. Borough-specific recourse boxes will be made available to schools focusing on portraits of inspirational local people who have made a positive difference to their community through the lens of art and design, history and literacy. Alongside student learning, the National Portrait Gallery will also provide teacher professional development to sustain the positive impact of the workshops.

We can’t wait to see what the students create!
