We have given £10,000 to Venture Community Association to support their Covid-19 response programme. This community centre is working to feed the most vulnerable communities in North Kensington through the setting-up of a food bank. Our grant will support the running costs of Venture’s food bank for 10 weeks, helping families and vulnerable people in North Kensington fight food hunger during these precarious times. This grant will also give Venture the opportunity to buy Personal Protective Equipment for their staff, keeping them safe while they help their communities.
Although lockdown has started to ease, many vulnerable communities are still feeling the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.
