Our grantee, WEST Youth Zone, was officially opened at a launch celebration event on Sunday 21 April!
WEST is a purpose-built youth centre in White City named by local young people and standing for “Where Everyone Sticks Together”. The opening kicked off their important work with the local community, with staff saying “We had over 1,000 people on the day and now have 700 members already signed up, which is wonderful!”
We made a grant of £150,000 towards WEST’s Employability Room, called Talking Business, and we can’t wait to hear about how the young people make use of their new facilities! You can read more information about this grant here.
