We are pleased to announce that we have given a £77K grant to The Woodland Trust for their project “Hainault – A forest for the people of London and Essex”.
Woodland Trust will provide hundreds of thousands of people with the chance to benefit from free enhanced access to Hainault Forest, a beautiful ancient wooded landscape on the northeast edge of London. The project includes a Welcome Hub in a newly restored barn to help provide visitor information, an upgraded network of paths and a programme of events available to the public.
Woodland Trust hope to receive up to 700,000 visitors to Hainault Forest once their project is complete and we are looking forward to hearing about their progress!
