We are pleased to be working, once again, with Earthwatch Europe, on their Teach Earth project. Our £25,000 grant will go towards a London teacher training programme, building teacher knowledge, confidence and motivation to lead outdoor learning and inspire the next generation of environmental change makers!
The programme will include in person and online workshops for 60 secondary school early-career teachers, a residential training weekend for 20 teachers, and access to an online curriculum-linked Educator Platform. All aspects of the programme are intended to provide underserved communities in London with environmental education through showcasing creative ways to enhance outdoor learning that teachers can take back to the classroom and beyond.
