We were delighted to have two of our team, Executive Trustee – Dr Soma Pujari and Grants Officer – Sharika Alam, visit the Kusuma Stem Cell Unit at University College London Hospital (UCLH) this week. It was a pleasure to meet the wonderful team carrying out vital work to improve patient outcomes. During the visit, Dr Soma Pujari was presented with a certificate of recognition from Baroness Neuberger, Chair of UCLH.
We are proud to be supporting this state of the art, patient and staff-centred facility which consolidates the treatment of patients in dedicated bone marrow transplant wards, providing continuity of care and in-depth understanding of therapies that is hard to generate across multiple departments, and enables ground-breaking research and clinical trials across the whole patient pathway.
