New Kusuma Excellence Prizes Awarded
At a presentation evening at Isolas Law firm on December 17th, six students from Gibraltar were awarded this years Kusuma Excellence Prize. Each student received a cheque for £3,000 to support them to make the most of their time at university. The six recipients were all exceptional students who had performed well at A-Level, were studying at a leading university and had a history of giving back to the community on Gibraltar.
This years recipients of the award were:
David Garcia studying Law at the University of York
Nuhaila Mkerref studying History at Cambridge University
Joseph Butron studying Mathematics at Durham University
Sanya Chhugani studying Materials Science and Engineering at Loughborough University
Henry Archer studying Physics and Chemistry at the University of St Andrews
Kelvin Gomez studying Education at Cambridge University
