The Kusuma Trust University talks are talking place this week at Bayside School in Gibraltar. Over the course of 2 days, Year 11, 12 and 13 students will attend a series of workshops hosted by Jane Marshall from Optimising Futures, which will help them prepare strong personal statements for their university applications.

Day 1 will see small groups focus on specific subject areas, as well as provide a session for Year 12 students who are interested in studying medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine. Day 2 will introduce Year 11 students to the university application process and offer one-to-one sessions with Jane for students applying for early-entrance courses. In the afternoon Year 12 students who are considering applying for Oxford or Cambridge university will be able to learn from Jane’s experience and expertise about how to start building a strong application and personal statement. Jane said: “I am delighted to be back in Bayside and Westside for a jam-packed schedule this week! I thoroughly enjoy running the sessions for Years 11-13 to help them write the most effective personal statements. Huge thanks as always to the brilliant Heads of Sixth Form for such seamless timetabling, and, of course, to Kusuma Trust Gibraltar for kindly sponsoring this entire event.

We hope that all of those attending the event will have a great time! More details about our university talks can be found here.
